Bloggin' Around Town

Today I posted at the Gab Wagon about Paperspine, a Netflix-like book rental service.

Tomorrow (posted at midnight central time) I'll talk about the effect of passion on expectations (in terms of being a fanatic) at Supernatural Sisters. Today's post at SPN Sisters was by MJ Fredrick about the upcoming movies the Winchester boys (well, the actors who play them, actually) will be in this winter/spring. And later in the week we have Tanya Michaels on fandom, Trish Milburn on Sam Girls vs. Dean Girls, and Terri Clark's recap/review of this week's episode, "Criss Angel is a Douche Bag."

Check 'em out!

Natalie, thanks for the article on Paperspine on Gab Wagon. Megan Hart mentioned she was interviewing the guy on NINC, but I must have missed the announcement that the interview was on-line. It's a great interview and addresses the concerns I first had when I heard the idea. I'll probably post a link to it next week - thanks to your cleverness at bringing it to my attention.

Hmm, now all I gotta do is convince a bunch of Americans they MUST read my books through Paperspine, so the company orders lots of my books. However, I imagine most of the books they order are not from small presses. Let's face it, the demand for my books isn't high, LOL. Although, with a business model like this, small press authors could begin to make inroads.

LOL Thanks for calling me clever! I'm glad to be of service!

I don't think they care about where the books were published. FYI (though you might have already seen), your Secrets anthologies are there already. They have Samhain stuff, and even an anthology Zumaya put out. So be positive! :)

Look at you go! Lots of bloggin' goin' on! I stopped by SPN Sisters and loved it! Even left a post for you to dissect from your recap of Family Remains. (Can't wait to get the tape tomorrow and actually see it) Really glad to see other well-spoken people discuss the boys.

You guys should do some polls. Which way do you like your SPN story? Down and Dirty Hunting? Big Demon Hunting? Or Apocolyptic Chaos? Or something like that. Just a thought!

Thanks for coming by! I have the show recorded--I just need to remember to finish rewinding it and take it out of the machine!

I responded to your comments, too. Very insightful stuff!

Oooh, I like the poll suggestion. I'll pass it on! Thanks!

Penny's Secrets anthos are there? Yeehaw. How do you check what they have? I'm not American, so clearly I can't belong. If you ever see my Cindypk there, give me a shout.

Maybe, if this venture is successful, he'll eventually expand. Like Amazon, which has Canadian Amazon now.

Right at the top of the page you can search by title and author and other things. I'll let you know if I ever see the others appear. :)

I hope he IS successful enough to expand to Canada!
